"SCULPTURE BY FOSS
INTRODUCES NEW WEBSITE"
ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST IS
CARVING A NEW MARKET ON THE INTERNET
For Immediate Release Prescott,
Arizona, November 8, 2005 - Sculpture by Foss is proud to
announce its all new website. Connie Foss, the
artist behind the work, has been an accomplished
sculptor for many years, sending some of her pieces into
the homes of the famous like the King of Saudi Arabia,
and even more into the appreciative domains of many
not-so-famous animal lovers.
“I have always
shown my work and sold my sculptures the old-fashioned
way, by word of mouth and print advertising, “Connie
noted. “More, perhaps, by word of mouth,
especially in the equine community where I have been an
active participant and avid fan for many years.” she
added.
Sculpture by
Foss has gone from a very basic website with a few of
her pieces, to a much more extensive site that contains
most of Connie’s small and large lost wax bronze
sculptures, sculpted and carved wood tables, as well as
her outdoor steel sculptures. All of the
sculptures are for sale to interested collectors, with
most larger Foss pieces, limited editions of 15, and the
smaller ones limited to a production of 45. Connie
also creates custom pieces such as the entire African
office which was commissioned by a local businessman and
is displayed in the Executive Office section of the
website.
“My new website
is like going from a Volkswagen® to a limo! I am
truly excited to be able to share my work with so many
more people! “said Connie. “I love what I do and I
love giving the visual and tactile pleasure to others
that only sculpture can provide. Now you can visit, look
around and shop at your leisure, making contact with me,
if and when you want to buy.”
The website
features easier navigation so that visitors can enjoy
each section without the usual fear of being lost in
space. In addition to the selection of equine
sculptures for horse lovers, there are nature’s
creatures from pastures, plains and forests, to the
wilds of Africa and even your own backyard.
Need a special
gift? SculpturebyFoss.com also has a section for
interested art lovers desiring a sculpture NOW instead
of having to wait the usual six weeks to four months
required for Connie to hand carve a piece.
Purchases still are made the old-fashioned way with
one-on-one attention to each person’s desires.
Contact information is on the website at www.sculpturebyfoss.com, or
interested parties can simply call Connie at (928)
778-4742.
Connie sums it up with “It
takes my breath away when I think about the magnitude of
something as powerful as today’s technology in
websites. But then all I have to do to get my feet
back on the ground is think about the way I do business:
Personally - both in my creations and in the
service I provide my
customers.”
